Val Badia: A Hiking Paradise

A hiking Eldorado surrounds the twelve villages of Val Badia. A suggestive landscape of rare beauty among the Dolomites formed millions of years ago by a coral reef in the tropical sea. Many excursions can be undertaken starting directly from the agritourism Alpinus. Reach the nearby Corn peak (1892m) and continue towards Rit where you can climb towards Pares (2968m and a perfect place perfect for contemplating the sunset) or for the more daring climbing of the Piz Dales Nü (2968m). Walk downhill towards San Vigilio di Marebbe and take the comfortable ski lift on your return. The Sas de Pütia (2875m), the Antersasc Valley and the legendary world of Fanes are just a few suggestions for fantastic destinations to discover while walking.

Bike and mountain bike lovers will also love San Martin de Tor. The Fanes-Senes mountain bike ride has been consecrated as one of the most beautiful in Europe, while the marathon Maratona dles Dolomites annually welcomes thousands of cyclists from all over the world. In the immediate vicinity of the agritourism Alpinus you can take the tour of the Piz de Plaies that reaches downhill San Vigilio di Marebbe and continues to Longega where a cycle path takes you through the woods to Piccolino and then back up to Ju. From the Col dl Ancona the downhill trail Piz de Plaies starts, while the valley that reaches Pederü, Passo delle Erbe and Passo Furcia are destinations particularly popular to racing bikers.

Summer for Families with Children

In the Dolomites, younger children will discover the largest playground in the world. A place where waterways, alpine lakes, pine cones, and wild animals replace electronic devices. Starting from the agritourism Alpinus we recommend a walk through the woods to the Ciamaur beach, a perfect and much loved by children picnic spot. Nearby you can also book a ride on a beautiful Icelandic horse, have ice cream and then return back by ski lift. A few minutes walk from the agritourism there is also the possibility to have lunch in the refuge as well as the possibility to fly over the canopy of the trees on the longest Zip-Line in Europe.
